A SONGWRITER Profile Page is FREE. Here you increase your exposure and networking opportunities
by being associated with the world wide community of songwriters like
yourself. More people will link to your other websites, listen to your
music, and buy your CDs. Go to the SIGN-UP page for details.
A RESOURCE Profile Page requires a ONE-TIME RESOURCE REGISTRATION FEE of $25.00. This ensures that the Resources in the Resource Directory are confident that their services and products have some value to songwriters.
Your Membership Term is for
as long as the website exists, or until your membership is terminated. If you wish to
terminate your membership, simply go to the CONTACT PAGE and send us a message indicating that you would like to cancel your membership. Please note that the One-Time Resource Registration Fee is non-refundable.
Your songs need to be in a digital format. Then you need to upload them to a music
website. These sites give step by step instructions on how to convert your
music to the correct format. The website you choose should allow visitors
free and easy access to your music. Your own website may also be a good
choice.
To be able to upload your songs to a music
website, they will need to be in a digital format.
There are services that can take your songs from a cassette tape and put them on
a CD.
If you don't have any songs in a digital format, you can still be listed in the SONGWRITERS
DIRECTORY. You can always add your songs later, if you wish.
The Songwriters Directory is a data base of and
for all songwriters, both professional and amateur. Anyone who has written a
song and considers her or himself to be a songwriter may be listed.
TROUBLE-SHOOTING NOTES:
We only accept graphic images in .jpg, .jpeg, or .gif file formats. If your Photos or CD Covers were not in either .jpg, .jpeg, or .gif, then they were deleted. If the graphic files you uploaded were very large, they may have also been deleted. Files sizes must be under 750 KB. The closer your file is to this size when you upload it, the better. IMAGES LARGER THAN 1 MB MAY BE DELETED.
If your web page LINKS do not work properly, please be sure that you entered the COMPLETE and CORRECT URL, INCLUDING http:// at the beginning of the web page address.
